The Summery of Chapter 8 & 9

The shipmates were trying to get the women and children on the life boats, but Sam woldn't go without Star the dog. So he lied about his age but the his best friend told them the truth of how old he was, and he still refused to get on the life boat. The band was playing so the people didn't know why they were getting on the life boats.
