Winn-Dixie: Summery of Chapter 6-7

Opal spent a lot of her time at the Herman W. Block Memorial Library in the summer. The library was not a very big place, it looked like a house that was filled with many books. The librarians name was Ms. Franny. Ms. Franny was a little old lady. Ms. Franny was the very first friend that Opal made in Naomi. Opal went to the library and she also took Winn-Dixie with her, but Opal had to leave Winn-Dixie outside, because dogs weren't aallowed inside the library. While Opal was looking at books to read, she heard Ms. Franny scream, so Opal went ot see what was wrong and Ms. Franny told Opal that there was a bear that was looking in the window. Opal said that it was her dog Winn-Dixie, and Ms. Franny asked, "Are you sure that is your dog and not a bear. Opal asked, " Why do you think it is a bear?", she is like it is a long story. Opal asked if Winn-Dixie could come in andlisten. A liitl bit before Ms. Franny got started old pinch-face Amanda Wilkinson came in and asked Ms. Franny if dogs were allowed in the library, she said only certain ones. Ms. Franny said that a long time ago a she was reading a book and she saw a shadow, and she asked, " Can I do anything for you?" But she got no answer. So she slowly moved the book she was reading down and she saw a bear, so she through the book at the bear and the bear took off with the book and never came back. She said to Opal my old friends would tell me that we saw that bear of yours.
