Winn-Dixie: Summery of Capter 4-5

When Opal and the preacher went somewhere they tied Winn-Dixie up. If they left Winn-Dixie in the house he would trash the house. Opal and the preacher started to take Winn-Dixie every where they went, because if they left him alone he would bark until the other dogs started to bark. They even took Winn-Dixie to church, but Opal asked the preacher why did we take Winn-Dixie to church just to tie him up. The preacher got three words into the sermon and Winn-Dixie started to bark, howl. The preacher tried ignoring Winn-Dixie, but the preacher yelled at Opal, and told her to go get Winn-Dixie, so the preacher could finish his sermon. Opal told the preacher that Winn-Dixie told her that she should know something about her mom every year she was alive. He told her, " That she was funny, and she could make about anyone laugh, she had red hair and freckles, she loved to plant things and she could stick a tire in the ground and grow a car, she could run fast, she couldn't cook she even burnt water, she loved to hear stories, she drank alcohol, she didn't like being a preacher's wife or have the people judge her by the way she dressed. After the preacher she went to her room and wrote everything that the preacher told her about her mom. At the church there was mice and Winn-Dixie saw one and chased it and after that he droped it at the preachers house.
