The Compare & Contrast Essey of Because of Winn-Dixie

The Because of Winn-Dixie book & movie have not very many differences & things that are alike. The book didn't talk about a policeman going into Gertrude's Pets or a landlord telling the Preacher & Opal that they had to hurry & find home for Winn-Dixie or he would call the pound. However, the movie talked about there being a policeman in the Gertrude's Pets & the landlord yelling at the Preacher & Opal. In the book Winn-Dixie hid under the bed after being lost when the thunderstorm, however the movie Winn-Dixie came inthe door & hid under the bed. When Opal was working at Gertrude's Pets & a policeman walked in the door, and it asked Opal, " Do you know that man is a criminal?" Then, all the sudden Winn-Dixie came out and started bitting the policeman, but the movie Winn-Dixie did.
