Winn-Dixie: Summery of Chapter 1-3

Opal went to the grocery store to get Macaroni & Cheese, White Rice, and two tomatoes. When she went in the store the manager was yelling, " Who let a dog in here?", and waving his armes in the air. The employees of Winn-Dixie were also waving their arms like the manager was. She didn't see the dog until it came around the corner of the produce section. The manager told the emlopees to call the pound,and Opal told them to hold on and claimed it was her dog. Winn-Dixie wanted to thank the manager and wanted to do it face-to-face with him. The managers asked Opal if she knew not to take dogs in the store, and she said Winn-Dixie got in on accident. Opal took the dog home and told her dad that she found a fortunate dog, and her dad said that she didn't need a dog. She brought Winn-Dixie in and her dad let her keep it.
